This policy describes data processing when you browse the public pages of payforservices.net.

What is available

You can read guides about digital products. Registration and sign-in are closed, and the website does not accept orders or payments. Public pages have no forms requesting a name, email address, password or payment details.

Technical data

When you open a page, the server receives your IP address and request details. Access logs may record the time, requested URL and its parameters, response status, browser information and referring page if your browser sends it. This information supports site operation, troubleshooting and protection against abuse. Do not enter personal or confidential information in the search field.

The access log is configured for daily rotation with up to 14 archived logs. Rotation is skipped when the log is empty, so this does not always mean 14 calendar days. This setting concerns the website access log, not every possible infrastructure log or backup.

Country and language

To estimate your country, your connection’s IP address is sent over an encrypted server-to-server connection to FolkLore, which uses IPinfo. The store receives only a country code. This request does not include your name, email, passwords, payment details or browser fingerprint. Your device’s precise location is not requested. A VPN or proxy may affect the result.

The website caches the result for one hour under an IP hash with a secret salt; the raw IP is not stored in this cache. IPinfo lookups use FolkLore’s server cache for up to one hour. The provider describes its handling of requests in the IPinfo privacy policy. If country lookup is unavailable, browser language or a manual choice is used.

Country helps select the homepage language, with your browser language used as a fallback. A manual choice takes priority and is saved on your device. Pages opened through a direct URL keep their specified language.

Browser storage

Your language preference is stored in localStorage under pfs-language. Its value is ru or en, with no visitor identifier. No automatic expiry is set. “Use my location” in the language menu removes the saved choice; you can also clear this website’s data in your browser. See Cookies and stored preferences for details.

External websites and analytics

The current public interface has no advertising pixels, third-party web analytics or social widgets. Fonts and illustrations are hosted on this website. When you follow an external link, that website’s own policy applies.

Applicable law may provide rights to access, correct or delete personal data, restrict processing or object to it. The scope of those rights and any exceptions depend on the processing grounds and relevant jurisdiction.
